Last night while searching for something else altogether I stumbled across this:



When Colin (Dundonnell), surely one of the most symphonically informed persons of my acquaintance  ;D , says (in response to a recent upload of Vivier's fifth), that he's only otherwise familiar with this composer's third symphony, it gives me reason to surmise that there may be one or two people out there who might be interested in this performance.

You are correct, of course, Jolly Roger, but it was in fact Rivier's fifth symphony to which I was referring.  It must have been a quasi-nationalistic slip of the keyboard to transpose Vivier for Rivier.  Thanks for pointing this out to me.
