Uploaded today by Corentin on his channel. A big Thank You to Corentin and Bret Johnson !
I thought the only chance of hearing this would have been through Dutton, had they retained their interest. I'm guessing it must be the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella with Matthew Taylor if it's the first performance, but haven't dug deeper yet to see if it's had other performances.

The Symphony was completed in 2006 and premiered at the St Petersburg British Music Festival in 2009 by the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella Orchestra conducted by Matthew Taylor.

Cheers.  ;D  I am loving it.  I hear alot of Moeran in it (especially the slow movement).

I have these on cassette tape but I don't have a way to digitize them:

1. Mill Town, op. 116
2. Passacaglia on a theme of Brahms
3. A Dales Suite
4. Italian Journey
5. Concertante, op. 27

Probably there are those who do not know that Corentin is the name of the person running the CB channels.

A precision : my name is Corentin Boissier (not just Corentin) and my YouTube channels are titled collectionCB (not just CB). ;)

Thank you for posting the symphony on youtube - I've been hoping to hear it for a long time.

Now just to be greedy, I wonder if anyone will put Symphony No. 7 on youtube - there will be recordings, as there were at least three cameras strapped to the balcony rail in Huddersfield during its first performance.

Wonderful news :)

Now just to find a good, clean and-above all-SAFE way of downloading the symphony (and the Casella Missa Solemnis and the recent Maxwell Davies uploads).

Have you tried VLC media player?  It seems to work OK as a download method.

Thanks :) I have just found a Firefox Browser Add-On "Download You Tube Videos as MP4" and successfully downloaded all the YT music uploads on my "to do urgently" hit list ;D
That included the Butterworth obviously!

The orchestra performing Butterworth's "Symphony No. 6" is the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella Orchestra.
