1993-1994 The first principal was Vladimir Delman
After his death (1994) and before Chailly an interim directorship was taken by Alun Francis and Gianandrea Noseda.

Orchestra Nazionale RAI, Turin
In the Years 1994-2000 Eliahu Inbal , with de title of "Honoray Conductor".

In earlier years the Radio Orchestra of Turin, after Mario Rossi and 1969, had Piero Bellugi (up to circa 1973).
In the last four years (1991-1994) principal was Frank Shipway, and before him Aldo Ceccato (circa 1985-1990).
From 1974 up to 1984 "de facto" principals were Wilfried Boettcher, later Ferdinand Leitner, later Gary Bertini.

Orchestra dell'Accademia di Santa Cecilia.
Never there was the violinist Uto Ughi.

I have incorporated some of the additional information provided and removed Ughi from the list of conductors of the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia-although this is asserted all over the internet ::)
