Loved it!  Extremely well performed and high quality filming which we don't often get on youtube.  Thanks for posting.  Does anyone know exactly how many symphonies Rihm has composed?  It is a bit confusing since he stopped numbering them and started using the term more loosely...then reused the name on several works that sound completely different.

Hi Relm,

As far as I know, he wrote three numbered symphonies.

and a Symphonie Nähe Fern für Bariton und Orchester

He wrote also a series of (sofar) 6 named Vers une Simfonija fleuve  (resp I, II, III, IV, V, VI)
