Sergei Rachmaninoff was born in Oneg (probably) in 1873. Here is a seldom heard masterpiece for unaccompanied choir, the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, opus 31, written in 1910.

It is named "rachjo2.mp3".

Here it is on Mediafire:

It comes from an old wireless broadcast, and its duration is one hour twelve minutes.

For some unknown reason older versions of VLC will not play it, but later versions will. I have also successfully used with it the Windows Media Player, the Media Player Classic, and Firefox itself.
