The Carwithen is one of the most satisfying piano concertos I have ever heard.

... it is one of my favourite PCs as well - especially the 2nd movement with its extended dialog
between the piano and a solo violin - but I prefer the Shelley/Hickox recording on Chandos.


Agreed..it seems the English really understand the spirit of the music.
