Gernsheim chamber music

Hi all,
After a bit of heavy-handed moderation at the Unsung Composers site, I'd thought I'd try this out here (hoping for a breath of fresh air).

I was researching Gernsheim recently, and was surprised to come across considerable materials I hadn't been aware of - much of it not recorded. It's of very high quality, reminiscent of Brahms - and I'm sure many folks here have enjoyed it. I just want more of it (if possible).

I've appended this list - recorded works in blue, and if anyone can add to it, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, Eric, I am in fact aware of his first name, Friedrich. I dare say I know more about him than you. As you will see (if you can manage to click on the links you posted), that, in fact, neither of those posts have the detail that I had, accentuating the unrecorded pieces. ...as the kind folks here, at least, know.

Please keep in mind that the word "remit" must never be uttered here.

"Remit" is actually a verb (with a short e) meaning "to send back". The noun from it is "remittance". The use of "remit" as a noun (with a long e, in defiance of standard rules of English pronounciation) is an atrocious neologism. I have been tempted to point this out to the retired schoolmaster who moderates at UC ...

But, dear Balapoel, Eric's comment was not directed at you but at Tom. Tom said that he couldn't see any symphonic works listed and I pointed out that the subject of your thread was Gernsheim's CHAMBER works (clearly stated by you) so it was not surprising you had listed no works other than those for chamber ensembles. Then Eric came in and admonished Tom for not having done just a bit of simple research himself before assuming Gernsheim wrote only for chamber ensembles. He wasn't suggesting that YOU didn't know Gernsheim's first name or that YOU were ignorant at all. He was chiding Tom for being lazy, as I was chiding him for not paying attention to the title of your topic.

Yes, indeed - back to Gernsheim. And I would be most grateful if someone could point me in the direction of the recording of the first cello sonata which (I may be being stupid here) I cannot seem to find anywhere.
