Kvandal,Johan - Poem from a lost world op. 66
Minsk Chamber Orchestra
Commissioned by the Edvard Grieg Society, New York.

If you have not heard the music of Johan Kvandal of Norway, IMO most of it it top-shelf.
Many consider this to be his master piece and I'm inclined to agree.
Applause at rhe end indicates a live performance.
Kvandahl's music is becoming increasingly abundant, esp on Utube.

I suspect the video accompanying the piece may be off the composers intent for the work..the mood indicates a description more akin to the lost world described via Paradise Lost..
In any event, it is a truly fine piece of music.
