On Wednesday, March 25, music industry conference and one of the biggest indoor festivals in the Nordic-Baltic region – Tallinn Music Week – begins in Tallinn. The festival brings together around 800 music industry players, the artist line-up presents more than 200 Estonian and international acts from diverse musical genres.

Classical music program is being curated by Glasperlenspiel Festival. Concert „Crystals“ will take place on March 26 in Rotermann Salt Storage and „Sacred Incantations“ on March 27 in Niguliste Church. Female Chamber Choir Sireen performs a program of Maria Kõrvits’s music, Peeter Vähi’s showcase will be performed by Riivo Kallasmaa (oboe) and Glasperlenspiel Sinfonietta under the baton of Mikhail Leontyev. Also Tanel Joamets (piano), ensemble Floridante and counter-tenor Ivo Posti, Handbell Ensemble Arsis, The Lab Orchestra and Olga Shishkina (kantele, gusli, Finland), and Joan Martí-Frasquiers (saxophone, Spain) will appear on the stage.

On March 27 and 28, music industry conference takes place in Nordic Hotel Forum. This year’s conference will host a prolific set of celebrity speakers: girl-punk-band pioneer, film director and writer Viv Albertine, legendary musicians, writers and industry insiders  John Robb and Simon Napier-Bell, the Swedish music industry’s most successful woman Marie Dimberg, music supervisors Thomas Golubic and Andrea von Foerster.
