this is an edgy but powerful and compelling piece, typical for this composer.
a treat for someone who has not heard his music.

I first heard this composer on Swedish radio via this gripping piece which I thoroughly enjoyed:

Nilsson, Anders - Symphony no. 2 Paradise Lost which really got my attention.

this piece likewise:
Nilsson,Anders - Orbit,concerto grosso nr 2 (2002)

He is certainly a new voice who should be heard more often and quite a discovery for me..
You can also enjoy his very fine and surprisingly lyrical Violin Concerto on YT, please refer to my recent post at that topic.
