Another Glyndebourne streaming relay from this season - directed by the rather surer hand of Peter Hall, and conducted by Vladimir Jurowski

Ah - thank you again; I look forward to watching it. Being directed by a man, it cannot but be better than the "Little Vixen." For the truly manly fluffy animals have a very limited appeal.

A couple of minutes of the Vixen waving her silly long tail around is more than enough. When it goes on for two hours it is both utterly pointless and immensely wearisome for those trapped in the hall. Indeed one's enjoyment of the music itself is spoiled thereby.

Thanks Neil for the link. It is great to come here and to find useful things and musical events that are out of reach for some of us.  ;)

Hello Lena! I fear Glyndebourne is out of the reach of most of us - if not only geographically!  But I think it's excellent that they make their productions accessible to all, without charge - a very enlightened policy!

:)
