Sweden has given extensive prize-money to the winners of this year's Polar Music Awards

The winners were two newcomers to the profession who badly need financial support - a songwriter named Paul Simon and young cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

Doubtless we will hear more of these two promising young chaps in their later careers.
