Božidar Kos  (b 1934) Slovenian composer

Has lived in Australia for 43 years, when he returned to his homeland in 2008.
The composer tells that there are three reasons for leaving Australia: the almost completely neglect by ABC, the sudden death of his wife, and all of the rest of family, including his daughter living in Slovenia.

He wrote, among other works, 3 symphonies (2005-6, 2007-8, 2011); a Cello Concerto (2009-10), a Violin Concerto (1986) and a Viola Concerto.

The Slovenian Radio and TV gives proper attention to this great composers work. His three symphonies are all performed on the radio. The first two are available on cd from the Slovenian Radio Station. His concertos also were relayed sinds his return, as well as many of his chamber music..

The works I posted were given to me by the composer.

I corrected the dates the works were written
