Public Art, funding of art

There was interesting discussion on radio 4 about Public Art.

There are many public funded Art (huge gold fish or huge severed horse head, etc, etc). Public supported more art last century than any time in history and quality is very dubios .

I think the same thing happened in music.
Even it was published by right-wing think tank I had to agree with many point in this report.
It would be helpful for art if Art concil would go out of business.

I was pleased that there is at least some discussion about quality of art produced and about Quango government agencies that dish out funds to their cronies.

I don't think it will change.
