Stephen Oliver was a very talented writer of music that was both witty and accessible (he concentrated mainly on opera and choral music).

I only know the odd piece of his, mostly his incidental music for the BBC Shakespeare series (1970s and 80s), I like especially his music for A Midsummer Night's Dream.

There are a few choral pieces of his scattered amongst disks of English choral music, and there's an out-of-print CD of his music to the BBC Nicholas Nickelby.

Does anyone have any broadcasts of his music they could upload ( I imagine that BBC Radio 3 in the 1970s-90s) broadcast quite a few of his compositions.
