Hello. I joined in Feb this year, but for some reason failed to return. I used the moniker 'Classical Haggis' but I am otherwise known as Scots John. Anyway, nice to re-arrive, thanks to kyjo on this forum for reminding me. I will root around and see whats what for a wee while. ;D

Welcome to the forum :)
Welcome indeed - and you are certainly not the only Scot here, but this one does not hate haggis (although it's not something of which I would usually expect to partake other than at Hogmanay accompanied by neeps, tatties and a glass or more of fine single malt)...

I'm an American of (potentially) Scots descent. That has to count for something, right?
Never ate haggis, but my ancestors did live in Virginia sheep country...

I 'ate haggis too - but I'm no Scot. Great to see you here! :)

… music is not only an `entertainment’, nor a mere luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual if not of the physical life, an opening of those magic casements through which we can catch a glimpse of that country where ultimate reality will be found. RVW, 1948

Many thanks for the welcomes. There is plenty on this forum for me to investigate. Thanks again.
