It is good to see that there is revavil of interest to composers like Delius.

There was interesting discussion of Delius and his music on Music Matters today 21/1/2012.
To celebrate it here is Delius sonata for violin and piano.

Although it was doubtless beneficial for his creative growth, the circumstances of his life haven't helped him much - the Brits don't really think he's British, and the French reject him as French :(

it doesn't really matter where one is from. He thought of himself us International I think.

Maybe his time will come.
I heard this music on Something Understood (Radio 4).
