Does anyone have a recording they could upload of the splendidly impressive Requiem by the Finnish composer, Bengt Johansson (1914-89)?
This is a magnificent work scored for 3 separately conducted instrumental groups (if I remember correctly (i) chorus SATB, strings + timpani; (ii) bass soloist, brass ensemble + timpani; (iii) chorus SATB, strings + timpani.)  I heard this broadcast from a Liverpool Festival concert (I think) back in 1969 or 1970 (again, I'm guessing - it was a long time ago). I was an A level music student at the time, and it made a big impression on me. I would love to hear it again.
