I came across this a while ago, and had meant to bring it up before but had forgotten to. Tomer Adaddi is a young Israeli-born US composer who, along with being a classical composer, has written some popular songs and film scores. His PC 1 is a thoroughly enjoyable composition, very accessible and quite memorable in places. The slow movement, a moving tribute to his grandmother, is flanked by two outer movements that have great energy with moments that reminded me of Prokofiev and even Gershwin. Please give this wonderful piece a listen-I need to give it another one! Here are the links:
