I am wondering whether anyone recorded the broadcast of the performance of Meyerbeer's Robert le diable at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden? I would have taped it on 'ye olde' cassette deck, but unfortunately I found out too late! I understand there is going to be a cd release of the performance, but I'm not sure when this is going to happen or whether the prospect of one automatically disqualifies this request!!

NB: Maybe I should be more patient & just wait for the cd?!!! :( ;D

Hm! Apparently, there is a 3cd set on Brilliant classics that shares some or most of the cast. Must look into this......and cheap, too! :)
