Can I recommend with enthusiasm the recent release of these two important choral works by Petrassi :)

If, by any chance, the later Concertos for Orchestra by this great Italian composer have scared you off then set such fears aside. These are delightful works in a neo-classical style reminiscent of the Stravinsky of the 1920s(the Symphony of Psalms, for example) but with a sweetness and lightness of touch I had not previously associated with this composer.
