There are new pianists that attract attention now. It is difficult to know how they are going to develop and mature.

Igor Levit was introduced on radio 3. He is very young and interesting pianist. http://www.harrisonparrott.com/artist/igor-levit

I wonder if anyone knows more about him. He lives in Germany now and already made good reputation there.

He is on DVD with Alfred Brendel in a documentary about Brendel.

I love to celebrate young talent. We are lucky with good pianists .
Today I investigated Shai Wosner. He is amazing pianist and I enjoyed listening to him playing Beethoven sonatas!!!

I saw Georgiev on Russian television. He was promoting festival there scheduled in April. Prokofiev is going to feature prominately there.

He mentioned Trifonov. I wonder if this is right Trifonov. I thought it is good to put him here again. I already posted him. Georgiev complimented him a lot.
What I found impressive about Geogiev is his desire to help less fortunate theatres and musicians. I don't know how true it is really and if he really helps.
