I used Cnet. and it worked perfectly, although one file did take an extremely long time to download and the files were placed in rather an odd location on my pc ;D

However, all is well. The files are copied to my Music Library. Pity there is no information about the performers.....but since the performances are certainly not from cds I cannot imagine there will be any issue with me uploading the files ???

I also found Symphony no.2, the Double Concerto and the Horn Concerto. Also the first two movements of the Violin Concerto on youtube.

Actually I had a senior moment. It's the first movement of Violin Concerto I couldn't find.

A wonderful composer-his music is highly melodic and infused with late-romanticism. Apparently, he was referred to by his teachers as "The Swedish Mozart", as he produced his first work, a Piano Sonata, at age 15. We shouldn't forget about this lovely Sterling disc with his chamber works:

I cannot quite understand how the two unrecorded Skold symphonies(Nos. 3 and 4) came to be on You Tube ::)

I vividly recall a conversation between a friend of mine on Facebook and the composer's grandson(great-grandson ???) in which the latter was lamenting the fact that Swedish orchestras had no interest in performing Skold's music. Yet here we have the two later symphonies on You Tube. Very odd :o

Hi,  I assume the performers of Symphonies are below (quoted from catalog from my friend). Probably correct , I think.

Symphony No.3 : Conductor : Cecilia Rydinger Alin / Stockholm Royal Orchestra
Symphony No.4 : Conductor : Heinz Freudenthal / Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra

*Both of orchestras are Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra today.
