"The bin" doesn't perhaps seem the most inviting place for this greeting, but anyway ... and to all members of the forum. :)

"The bin" doesn't perhaps seem the most inviting place for this greeting . . . I agree, so I've made a new "Greetings" section and moved Albion's pleasant post. And the compliments of the season to all!

Warm greetings for Christmas and 2013 to all who share the joy of the wonderful music this forum introduces us to.
Christmas suggestion - Christopher Rouse 'Karolju', which we are listening to right now in rather miserable England on this Christmas morning.

From a (now) sunny Holland I wish everybody, while listening to Rheinberger's Christmas Cantata "Der Stern von Bethlehem", a peaceful and musical Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all! It's not just the season of giving when we receive "presents" here at the A-MF-all year round we are blessed by the generous contributions of our members :)
Clive-I'm sure you'll enjoy Rouse's Karolju-it's a spirited, lovely piece :)
...also Penderecki's Symphony no. 2 Christmas is a wonderful piece.
...but I shall not break my Christmas tradition of listening to Leroy Anderson's A Christmas Celebration ;D
Unfortunately, the weather here in Pittsburgh, PA is rather dreary with no snow to be seen :(

Sorry, a bit late, as it's now Boxing Day, but I hope you all had a happy Christmas, or are continuing to do so in the westernmost parts of the world. Hungover greetings from Japan!

Itīs a pleasure and an honour be a (modest) part of The A-M F. Just returned of an emotive meeting with relatives and friends, I send you my wishes for the best 2013. Gabriel (from Argentina)
