A constitutional monarchy occupying the Jutland peninsula and about five hundred islands between the Baltic and the North Sea. Exports large quantities of agriultural produce, especially dairy products. Fisheries are also important. Area: 16,615 square miles. Language: Danish. Capital: Copenhagen.
