Thank you very much for your Albanian uploads, gabriel :). It's not often that we have the opportunity to hear music from this small country.

I am preparing more Albanian symphonic music. They were recorded in an old open-reel. Works are uneven and sonics are far from state-of-the-art, but these recordings are single pieces... Enjoy them!!

Very many thanks for posting those! I possess a number of recordings of works by Albanian composers so will add to the collection at some point.
Forgive me being pedantic, but the correct spelling of the composers of tracks 2 + 3 are Nikolla Zoraqi and Kujtim Laro. The conductors mentioned are Ermir Krantja and Ferdinand Deda.

Gabriel,
also from my side many thanks for your Albanian uploads, intriguing to get to know all these rare pieces. I downloaded both sets. I have one question: in the discussion above, you are talking about Track 4 from the first batch, which I also downloaded. However, you did not provide any information about what this actually is (composer / piece / performers). Could you help?

Thanks to Elroel I now know that these composers are from Kosovo, although they have Albanian ethnicity, so I have changed this post to this new site. Thanks, Elroel
Actually, Rauf Dhomi (rather than Raul) is Kosovar, as were Lorenc Antoni and Mark Kacinari. In contrast, Feim Ibrahimi and Çesk Zadeja are from Albania proper. So Shamus's post has pride of place in both topics actually! ;D
