The Naxos CD with Chapi's symphony didn't get very good reviews (mainly because of the performance), so I didn't get it. So, now's my chance (allowing the performance is better than the Naxos!) to acquire this rare example of 19th-century Spanish symphonic writing! Included are Chapi's:
-Symphony in D major (42 minutes)
-Overture to the opera "Roger de Flor" (12 minutes)
-"Scherzo Combato de Don Quijote contra los ovejas" (sorry if spelling is wrong) (8 minutes)
