This is a very exciting recent discovery. Many historical broadcast recordings are accesible on the site of the French National Audiovisual Institute (Institut National de l'Audiovisuel). All the recordings on the site could be sampled (about 7-10 minutes), but many could be played in full.

The 2013 "George Enescu" Festival (http://festivalenescu.ro/en/) has begun on Sunday, September 1st, in Bucharest, and it’s going to be 4 weeks long. As usual, many concerts have a Romanian piece in the programme.
