Artur Słotwiński (b. 1990) is a Polish based composer and pianist.

Artur graduated his studies in composition at Frederic Chopin University Of Music in Warsaw with Professor PhD Stanislaw Moryto and Professor PhD Pawel Lukaszewski in 2014. Among his most notable works are: Angstroms Symphony for orchestra in which he utilises his own idea: The Unified Coloristic Scales, a symphonic suite States Of The Matter for symphony orchestra and 2 Piano Concertos (2011, 2018). Lately on September 13th 2016 his Piano Quintet „Dreaming Music” was premiered in Cincinnati during Polish Festival. He is an author of symphonies, chamber music, choral works and also music for short films: Warsaw Rising dir. by Tomasz Dobosz (war drama awarded on several festivals, eg. LA Film Awards 2019), In Pieces (thriller dir. by Szymon Gonera presented on Koszalin Film Festival), Old Youth (short film dir. by Marcin Magiera), Rarepublic (short film dir. by Tomasz Dobosz), 2018/19. In past years he was scholarship recipient, eg. Societe Generale Bank in 2011. For his compositions in past 10 years he received 14 prizes, eg. for choral pieces: Opus966 Ist Prize for Baptismos (2014) and Musica Sacra Ist Prize for Seven Last Words of Christ (2013) and also: IInd prize on Fitelberg Competition for 1st mvt. of Credo Symphony (2011) and IInd prize for Urban Games on Penderecki Competition in Sopot (2015).


He consulted his works on workshops with composers such as: Joel Hoffman, Lowell Liebermann, Vladimir Scolnic, Zygmunt Krauze, Edward Sielicki and Sławomir Czarnecki.
Artur at the same time also a concert pianist and researcher of lost piano concertos. In September 2017 he performed his own restoration of Piano Concerto in G-minor by Wojciech Sowinski from 1830s and also in December 2019 he performed another restoration of his hand: Jozef Krogulski Piano Concerto no. 2 in B-Minor from 1831 (world premiere). He gives also solo recitals with music of Chopin, Beethoven, Schubert, Bach, Liszt and his own compositions.
After studies in Warsaw he continued development of his composition skills and craftsmanship. He participated in many workshops devoted to film music, such as: Workshops for Composers during FMF Festival in Luslawice and Cracow with Daniel Carlin (2016), Hollywood
 
 Music Workshop in Baden Bei-Wien with Conrad Pope and Nan Schwartz in 2016 and with Johannes Vogel and TJ Lindgren in 2017.
