Title: Sally Beamish Piano Concerto No. 2 Post by: shamus on March 07, 2017, 12:41:27 am Did anyone happen to record Sally Beamish's Piano Concerto No. 2? It seems it was on Hear and Now on BBC 3 about the middle of last December. If so, would you mind sharing it? Her 3rd was also premiered earlier this year by the St. Paul C O, but haven't heard of a broadcast yet, so if anyone has, would also appreciate knowing about it. Thanks, Jim

Title: Re: Sally Beamish Piano Concerto No. 2 Post by: northern on March 12, 2017, 01:43:48 pm Strangely enough (very, very strangely, if you ask me), the Piano Concerto No. 2 'Cauldron of the Speckled Seas' is second up in a programme on BBC Radio 3 on Saturday 18th March at 22.00. That's the second time a member's request has almost immediately been granted by an outside force!
