Post by: t-p on January 21, 2012, 02:52:16 pm
It is good to see that there is revavil of interest to composers like Delius.

There was interesting discussion of Delius and his music on Music Matters today 21/1/2012.
To celebrate it here is Delius sonata for violin and piano.

Although it was doubtless beneficial for his creative growth, the circumstances of his life haven't helped him much - the Brits don't really think he's British, and the French reject him as French :(

Maybe his time will come. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49B83v4dmIk
