Hey, Michael Gordon is good stuff. Don't hate on it! Trance is not one of his better works, but it gives a good idea of what he is like. Lots of rhythm and lots of noise, in a good way, though. Here is something that shows another side of him, though:

I did not say it was anything, good or bad, but Gentlemen, whilst my tastes run not usually to this sort of thing, there was something going on, something small and vague, forcibly iterated, yet hearable, being said: as ALL the musicians displayed most clearly.
