Peteris Vasks - Oboe Concerto (2018)

Peteris Vasks was born in the small town of Aizpute in 1946. He has given us three symphonies, in the years 1991, 1998 and 2005. His oboe concerto appeared in 2018, and has three movements:

I    Rīta pastorāle / Morgenpastorale
II   Scherzando
III  Vakara pastorāle / Abendpastorale

It was performed by Albrecht Mayer, oboe, with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andris Poga.
