Eugen Suchoň (1908-1993) - Žalm zeme podkarpatskej (Psalm of the Carpathian Land), op 12 (1937) [Cantata for tenor solo, mixed chorus & large orchestra]. Some described this as the most important vocal-orchestral work of Slovakia. The 1st performance was in 1938 (17/3). The original Czech text of Jaroslav Zatloukal about Karpathia, was translated by the composer into Slovak language. You hear the Slovenská filharmonia (Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra) and the Slovak Philharmonic Choir. Vilém Přibyl is the soloist (tenor) singer; it is directed by Ladislav Slovák Source: LP Opus 91120436 (1977). The recording is made after a public performance from february 1976). http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2lrz5744nzocpcqhttp://www.mediafire.com/download.php?9app1d9e966fyo3Download both the files and un-rar part 1. The 2nd part will follow automatically.
